… almost done with Kaboom! …

In a day of record heat (100 degrees) here in Portland, I stayed inside and sang all day. I spent the earlier part of the morning finishing the lyrics. Then, at about 2 pm, I set out to record the vocals.

Let me tell ya; it’s not easy to sing when you’re in a 90 degree, stifling hot stuffy house.

I kept at it for a few hours and I think I’m getting close to being finished with the song. Maybe I’ll finish it up over the weekend.

In other news … I’ll probably hear back about some full time work in the next week or so. That would help me scratch one more thing off of my summer 2008 to do list.

Oh yeah … and I finally received word that I graduated and can pick up my diploma in the next week or so too!
