… solar sailor …
In my pursuit of something “peppy”, an old song from my youth popped into my head. “Tron Solar Sailor” was one of the first talking video games for home console systems (Inellivision / Intellivoice). My family somehow ended up with this incomprehensible game and I spent hours aboard a solar sailor ship with a computerized voice shouting at me to “GET OFF!!! GET OFF!!!!” and “ENERGY LOW!!!! ENERGY LOW!!!!”.
The song may have been my first introduction to odd time signatures as the square waves pulse away in 7/8.
