… don’t mess with me …

ABOVE = art from Gideon Klindt that will eventually become the cover for “Bits”. It is a work in progress (kind of like the record itself).

That’s me … as a knight. Well, actually I’m going to be a space knight with a laser gun. I’m going to be surrounded by various dramatic scenes inspired by the songs. It’s kind of hard to explain … but you’ll see soon enough.

The album will be released on July 2nd.

I finished mixes for “Breakaway” and “Brain Games” today. They were both more complicated than I expected. “Breakaway” is an even keel acoustic ballad that has a turbo blast at the end. “Brain Games” is an angular and up tempo song that has many contrasting sections and a ton of choral vocal sounds. I like the way the guitars came out in that one.

I was suppose to get through “Demon Attack” as well, but I only managed to set up the buses and get a basic shape together. I’ll work on it a little more tomorrow and tackle “No Escape!” as well.
