… pixel magic …

Here comes the compulsive part.

I have been going over the first cut of the “No Escape!” music video frame by frame and finding stray pixels and things that “fall off the grid”. Most of the film was created in sequence, meaning from start to finish. That means that my technique sort of advanced as I went along.

Many of the early shots need some minor tweaks. One scene took me over an hour to fix. I had to re-draw about 30 frames of animation. You can see in the picture above how some of the body elements of the characters can get disconnected and stray lines can appear. You can see how the blue arm on the left has a straggling line of blue connecting it below thew main part of the arm.

This, along with some issues with Alpha channels bleeding through and creating some “ghost chunks” has been keeping me busy for the past few days as I cave-up and hide from the snow storms outside. I should have this baby in the can by the weekend.
