The “peppy’ song I’ve been working on for a little over a week now is finally close enough to a conclusion for me to move on. It took me longer than I expected. There are some questions (as with all of the current crop of songs) about rough edges here and there … but I think I’ll let time decide a few of those factors. This “peppy” little number didn’t end up being a linear construction … but oh well. I did push the main section that is repeated into a different chord voicing which ended up sounding nice.<\/p>\n

I’ll hop back aboard the “solar sailor” and see how that one is shaping up next. After that it is PHASE II of this operation. Sorting through and weeding close to 20 songs for a record will take a while … but I’m anticipating a 2011 release on this thing. Having some other people (bass\/drums) help me out will hopefully speed up the process and put a fire under my a**.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
