Well &#8230; the song inspired by the bass line from the 1982 video game &#8220;Tron Solar Sailor&#8221; ended up getting partially derezzed.  Not completely.  There is a spark still coursing through the smoking remnants.<\/p>\n<p>I spent the majority of the week working on &#8220;peppy&#8221; (for lack of a better name).  Holding a tempo of 150 BPM and locking in a 7\/8 meter, the song is a section or two from completion.  At this point, there are no repeating movements in the song.  I may end up repeating the into as an outro.  It has a somewhat <a href=\"http:\/\/armanbohn.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/10\/double-trouble-double-peppy\/\">open ended or mysterious sound<\/a> that seems logical to kick off and end with.  <\/p>\n<p>I managed to come up with a samba-ish bass line towards the midpoint of the song that heads off into double time and build up some tension.  Maybe that will lead back into the intro\/outro.  <\/p>\n<p>Or maybe there is one more little piece to the puzzle.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway &#8230; this week I&#8217;ll see if I can&#8217;t re-rez &#8220;solar sailor&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two songs in one week &#8230; what happened?
