I have both front ones working now &#8230; but not blinking.  I need new bulbs for the rear ones.  In fact, I pretty much need new rear turn signals.  Either the blinker unit is out, or the electrical system doesn&#8217;t have enough juice to make the lights blink.<\/p>\n<p>The carb cleaned up nicely, and the motor sounds better than before, but it still lacks power.  I can get the bike up above 25 &#8230; but I have to walk start it.<\/p>\n<p>The head gasket seems to be where the power problem is.  These old mopeds run an aluminum head gasket and mine looks to be about paper thin and worn through.  I&#8217;ll probably replace that thing and see how it works out.<\/p>\n<p>The exhaust system didn&#8217;t seem to be clogged.  I took the muffler off and tried running the bike without it to see if it would have some more power &#8230; nope. <\/p>\n<p>Maybe a new plug too?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I worked on my new moped for a bit.
