I’m almost done tracking what will be the first song on my solo record “Bits”. That song is “Combat”. I’d say I’m about 70% finished with the vocals. After that – I’m done with that one!<\/p>\n

It’s been quite an adventure getting this song done. I thought it would be super easy, but it wasn’t. I had some challenges with matching some of the vocal work as I unified\/harmonized the vocal tracks. It is coming together now. <\/p>\n

I also continued working the hi-hat pattern for the song “Outlaw” today. I’ve never been fully convinced that the intro “AM RADIO” drum pattern was quite right. The drums never had the AM sound … I’m not sure if wanted them too. It’s the vocals that carry the AM quality and I’m trying to mesh all the instruments together somehow. I’m not sure how it will end up.<\/p>\n
