Atlantis cartridge pic (1982) ...\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I tracked some of the vocals for the song &#8220;Atlantis&#8221; tonight.  I&#8217;m arranging huge banks of harmonies and blending them together to create a large choral sound. <\/p>\n<p>For instance &#8230; one section of the song has a four part harmony composed of a bank of fifteen vocals tracks blended together.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been using this technique on a lot of the songs for &#8220;Bits&#8221;.  It is a slow process, but it feels right.  I think it sounds unique to the record in some ways.  I&#8217;m arranging the vocals as I record them, so sometimes things don&#8217;t work out and need to be redone.
