Kaboom! ...\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In a day of record heat (100 degrees) here in Portland, I stayed inside and sang all day.  I spent the earlier part of the morning finishing the lyrics.  Then, at about 2 pm, I set out to record the vocals.<\/p>\n<p>Let me tell ya; it&#8217;s not easy to sing when you&#8217;re in a 90 degree, stifling hot stuffy house.<\/p>\n<p>I kept at it for a few hours and I think I&#8217;m getting close to being finished with the song.  Maybe I&#8217;ll finish it up over the weekend.  <\/p>\n<p>In other news &#8230; I&#8217;ll probably hear back about some full time work in the next week or so.  That would help me scratch one more thing off of my <a href=\"http:\/\/armanbohn.com\/blog\/2008\/06\/30\/summer-to-do-list-2008\/\">summer 2008 to do list<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>Oh yeah &#8230; and I finally received word that I graduated and can pick up my diploma in the next week or so too!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a day of record heat (100 degrees) here in Portland, I stayed inside and sang all day.
