It doesn&#8217;t tell me <em>who<\/em> made the search; it only tells me what they typed in.  People search for some pretty strange stuff it seems. <\/p>\n<p>This is a periodic source of amusement for me on many levels.  Anyone that runs a web site is curious about how people actually <em>find<\/em> it.<\/p>\n<p>Well &#8230; here are some examples, and my guesses as to why they found me:<\/p>\n<p>Searched for:<br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;deadly pythons&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Found?:<br \/>\nMaybe they found <a href=\"http:\/\/armanbohn.com\/blog\/2008\/05\/15\/man-killed-by-deadly-python\/\">this post<\/a>?  I may have caused some confusion with that one.<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\nSearched for:<br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;remote prosthetic arm 2008&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Found?:<br \/>\nThey probably found <a href=\"http:\/\/armanbohn.com\/blog\/2008\/05\/17\/remote-control-robo-dolly\/\">this post<\/a>.<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\nSearched for :<br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;mad scientist organ music&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Found?:<br \/>\nI&#8217;m sure their search took them <a href=\"http:\/\/armanbohn.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/06\/memories-of-the-lowrey-organ\/\">here<\/a> &#8230; and this one kind of makes sense.<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\nSearched for:<br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;how to move a lowrey organ&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Found?:<br \/>\nOnce again &#8230; they search engine thought <a href=\"http:\/\/armanbohn.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/06\/memories-of-the-lowrey-organ\/\">this post<\/a> would be of some use.  I don&#8217;t think it is what they had in mind.  Scroll down, you&#8217;ll see what I mean.<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\nSearched for:<br \/>\n <strong>&#8220;mad scientist double chamber&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Found?:<br \/>\nI&#8217;m not even sure where to begin with this one.  What is a &#8220;mad scientist double chamber&#8221; anyway?  I hope they enjoyed my blog.<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\nSearched for:<br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;supernova 1006 disbelief&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Found?:<br \/>\nHad to be <a href=\"http:\/\/armanbohn.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/02\/big-triangles\/\">this one<\/a> &#8230; but I&#8217;m not sure why someone would &#8220;disbelieve&#8221; a supernova.<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\nSearched for:<br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;why does tv have static when air condition turns on&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Found?:<br \/>\nMy guess would be my post about <a href=\"http:\/\/armanbohn.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/30\/the-cosmic-mistake-and-digital-television\/\">T.V. static<\/a>.  I don&#8217;t think it answers their question though.<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\nSearched for:<br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;pictures of mind games about physics&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Found?:<br \/>\nLord only knows why my site came up on that search.  Kind of fitting I guess.<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br \/>\nSearched for:<br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;list of job ive had&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Found?:<br \/>\nI&#8217;m going to go out on a limb and say <a href=\"http:\/\/armanbohn.com\/blog\/2008\/07\/01\/every-job-ive-ever-had\/\">this post<\/a>.  If you Google &#8220;list of job ive had&#8221;, my site is right up at the top.  My question is &#8230; why would some search for &#8220;list of job ive had&#8221;.  Shouldn&#8217;t they at least type in <em>their name<\/em>?!<br \/>\n&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<ul>Honorable Mentions<\/ul>\n<p><strong>&#8220;photos of dr arman&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;arman bohn madscientist&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;arman special photo&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;give the best photos of arman&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Awwwwe geese guys &#8230; shucks &#8230; you shouldn&#8217;t have!  I mean &#8230; I swear <em>I<\/em> didn&#8217;t type those in &#8230; really.
