24 fps vs. 12 fps. <\/p>\n
Most animation (stop motion or otherwise) is done at far less than 30 or 24 fps to save the animator loads and loads of work. I decided to run the same scene in 24 fps and 12 fps in order to help me make my final choice of frame rates.<\/p>\n
The first tank passes at 24 fps, the second at 12fps. 24 looks great, but 12 suggests something toy-like and stuttery . <\/p>\n
You decide what you like better…<\/p>\n
