… ready for the weekend …

I’m getting ready for a big weekend of tracking vocals for “Bits”. I only have two weekends to go to finish off about 7 songs worth of vocals (6 of which I have already started).

I’ve also been burning in the Mixcubes I recently acquired 24 hours a day. They’ve been playing “Copy” and “Boards of Canada” for two days straight. I hope to have them broken in by next week so I can start putting some mixes together.

I may have to move some things around in my studio room to set up for mixing. I’d like to pull my desk away from the wall, raise my main speakers to ear level and mount the Mixcubes on some mic stands.

… or maybe I’ll just say screw it and start to mix this crap.
