Today I completed some sectional electric guitar work and bass line tonal adjustments for the song “Warlords”. When I reconfigured the “Bits” to do list, the song “Warlords” came out with the largest number of remaining items to complete. Now I only have three units left to scratch of the list.

I also worked on the main drum sequence for the song “Adventure”. I didn’t get it finished though. It is kind of tricky. The song breaks into a strange section of layered vocal harmonies backed by a marching band style snare drum pattern. I’m not able to record the local Scottish drum brigade, so I’m using my own snare drum samples from my kit. The notes fall along a 16th triplet feel over a steady 120 BPM beat. Still trying to sort this one out.

I did not add anything to the list … YEAH!

In other news:
My netbook has been gone for over a week. I can’t wait to get it back so that I can work on this stuff on the go!
