… 2500 frames to go …
{{… continuation of work on the “Combat” music video for my record “Bits” …}}
I went through and counted stop motion scenes today. It looks like I need about 2500 frames of animation.
Most of the animation will be from the surface of the model. I’m going to use a revised version of the “choo-choo” dolly I made a few week back for some moving camera shots. I bought three feet of O scale flex track that I am going to mount on a split and hinged 2×4 base. The curve of the track should be completely adjustable.
I’ll also be shooting a few crazy single frame animation sequences with my steadycam … or the “cancam”.
I prefer to use canned beans as opposed to canned liquid products. The density of the beans versus the density of a liquid (canned milk or juice) just seems to float better. Lima beans may be the key to a good floating camera rig … but for now I’ll have to settle for Kidney beans.
